Tune Into Nature podcast: Felix at field camp

“The coolest thing about the summer field camp is that the professor and teaching assistants focus not only on teaching, but also building up community in the group,” said Felix Diaz, a fourth-year geology major in the Geosciences Department at Colorado State University who participated in the 2021 Summer Geoscience Field Camp held in Cañon City, South Fork and Silverton, Colorado.

Diaz shared his experience in the most recent episode of Tune Into Nature, a Warner College of Natural Resources podcast with student hosts Becky Barbier and Kelley Sinning.

Diaz, an international student from Panama, talks about his experience with discovering his major at CSU, the rewards of field camp and connecting with classmates and faculty in Warner College.
