Warner College honors members of its graduating class, faculty and staff at All-College Awards Reception

Four people stand on a stage holding an award: left to right, a woman, man, and two women.

Fittingly held on Earth Day, April 22, the annual All-College Awards Reception recognized Warner College Council award winners, departmental award winners, College award winners and outstanding publications.

The end of the school year brings with it warmer weather, finals week, summer planning and the opportunity to recognize the inspiring individuals who have excelled at Warner College of Natural Resources.

Every year, Warner College hosts its All-College Awards Reception, where students, faculty and staff come together to celebrate their peers and their many successes. This year, Warner College gathered at the Lory Student Center Theater where Warner College Dean A. Alonso Aguirre, Ecosystem Science and Sustainability Department Head Rich Conant, Research Associate Dean Mark Paschke and Warner College Council leadership presented a variety of awards, including departmental “Outstanding Senior” awards, academic awards, research awards and the fan favorite “Silly Goose Award.”

“Amidst the hustle and bustle of daily academia, these ceremonies serve as vital reminders to pause and celebrate the remarkable successes that enrich our community. I have never seen so many awards given anywhere else I’ve been – it is truly inspiring!” said Aguirre.
